How do I RSVP?
Right here on The Knot! At the top of the page, there is a RSVP tab, enter your name and it will allow you to confirm your attendance. We have included a few questions in the RSVP process, that we encourage you to answer. If you’re having trouble RSVP-ing, please reach out to Ashley.
When should I RSVP?
Please RSVP no later than May 1st, so we can have an accurate head count for the venue and cater.
Once we have given the venue and cater a head count, we will not be able to add any additional guest. So, please RSVP on time, we want to make sure we have everybody we love there to experience this special day with us.
How do I get to the venue?
GPS: The best thing to enter into your GPS is Sunset Ridge Farm Weddings & Events on any app and it will bring you straight here. If you enter the address it is 3363 Whites Branch Road, Wellington, Ky 40387, your GPS will bring you straight here if you are using google maps, if you use apple maps, it will stop you about 2.5 miles before you reach the property
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
The wedding will start at 5:00PM. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes early. Transportation to the chapel will be given by staff upon arrival. This will give everybody enough time to get a good seat.
What if I am running late to the ceremony?
Please park in the designated parking area and you will be transported to the chapel, if the bride has not already made her way to the chapel. If she is already gone over to the chapel, you will have to be dropped off at the barn where the reception will take place and wait there.
Is there parking?
Yes! When entering the venue, there will be staff directing you to the parking lot. Once you are parked, there will be several vans and golf carts that will drive you to where the ceremony is located. Also, transportation will be given after the ceremony to the reception. Staff will stay on site and will be ready to transport anyone who needs a ride back to their vehicle.
What is the dress code?
Our dress code is, “Come as you are.” We want you to feel comfortable and confident. We love you and just want to share our special day surrounded by the people we love. Please keep in mind that the ceremony and reception will be outside.
Will there be a open bar?
We will have specialty drinks, beer, water, and various pops. Drinks are on us. Tips are on you!
Will there be a designated driver or transportation provided after the reception?
We’ll have an open bar and want everyone to have an amazing time while staying safe. That’s why we’ve included a plus one for every guest—so if you plan to drink, please make sure your plus one is a responsible designated driver.
There are no local taxi services in Wellington, KY. The closest taxi services from the venue are located 28 miles from Morehead, 38 miles from Mt. Sterling, and 80 miles from Lexington. We kindly ask everyone to plan ahead and avoid drinking and driving. Let’s celebrate safely together!
Is the ceremony and reception inside or outside?
The ceremony is located in a beautiful outdoor chapel that is under a pavilion. The reception is located in a beautiful barn. The barn does not have central air but they do have a top of the line fan system, that works extremely well. Please check the weather and dress accordingly.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Absolutely! We'd love for you to take lots of photos and videos and share them on social media using the hashtag #TeamEdmonds4Life so we can easily enjoy everyone's memories.
That said, we've hired a professional photographer to capture all the special moments, so we kindly ask that you remain mindful and avoid blocking their view during the ceremony.
Is the reception going to be kid friendly?
We are excited to celebrate our special day with all of you, and we understand that many of you may wish to bring your children. While we are happy to welcome them, please note that our wedding will be an adult-oriented event.
There will be activities and games to keep the little ones entertained, but the music and overall atmosphere will reflect a mature, celebratory environment. We won’t be playing children’s songs (e.g., Baby Shark), and the music may contain some adult language and themes.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to the venue, we are only allowed to invite so many guest. There are several guest that I added a “Plus 1” to their RSVP. Unfortunately anyone not on the RSVP list will be asked to leave.
Can I bring a guest or +1/s not noted on my invitation?
We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself and your guests. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
